Bantam, founded in 1942 in Waverly, Iowa, is a defunct manufacturer of cranes and other machine equipment. They previously produced truck cranes, crawler cranes, self-propelled hydraulic cranes, truck hydraulic cranes, crawler hydraulic backhoes, and hydraulic log loaders. Purchased by Terex in 1987, the Bantam brand name was merged with their own division of cranes and likewise equipment.
