The Caterpillar 289D3 is a compact track loader designed for grading, loading, material handling, and site preparation in construction, landscaping, and utility applications. It features a vertical lift design, high flotation undercarriage, and rubber tracks for improved traction and reduced ground disturbance on soft or uneven terrain. The 289D3 is commonly equipped with a Caterpillar diesel engine, hydraulic auxiliary lines, and a sealed, pressurized cab for operator comfort and visibility. Compatible with a wide range of Cat attachments, it is used for digging, lifting, trenching, and cleanup tasks. The 289D3 is part of Caterpillar's D3 series compact track loader lineup.
