Caterpillar D6K2LGP crawler dozer is a low-ground-pressure track-type tractor designed for grading, dozing, and site preparation on soft or sensitive terrain. The D6K2LGP uses a wide undercarriage to reduce ground pressure and improve flotation in mud, sand, wetlands, and other low-bearing conditions. It is commonly equipped with a six-way blade, hydrostatic transmission, and Caterpillar powertrain and hydraulic systems for controlled blade response and maneuverability. The machine is used in construction, land clearing, roadwork, and utility projects where traction, stability, and surface protection are important. The D6K2LGP is part of Caterpillar's D6K2 series crawler dozer lineup.
