The Caterpillar 308CR is a compact radius mini excavator designed for construction, utility, landscaping, and site preparation work in confined spaces. It features a reduced tail swing design for improved maneuverability near walls, roads, and obstacles. The 308CR is typically equipped with a diesel engine, hydraulic auxiliary circuits, and a versatile undercarriage for stable digging performance. Common attachments include buckets, thumbs, augers, and breakers. As part of Caterpillar's mini excavator lineup, the 308CR is used for trenching, grading, lifting, and material handling where larger excavators cannot operate efficiently.
