The 246D is commonly equipped with a Caterpillar diesel engine, hydraulic auxiliary options, and a sealed, pressurized cab for operator comfort and reduced dust intrusion. Compatible with a wide range of attachments, it is used for grading, digging, lifting, and site cleanup. The Caterpillar 246D is part of Caterpillar's D Series skid steer loader lineup.
