The Caterpillar 980H is a large wheel loader designed for heavy-duty material handling, loading, stockpiling, and truck loading in quarry, aggregate, construction, and industrial applications. It is part of Caterpillar's H-series wheel loader lineup and is commonly equipped with a diesel engine, hydraulic lift and tilt systems, articulated steering, and a Z-bar loader linkage for efficient bucket penetration and load retention.
