The JCB 55Z-1 is a compact zero-tail-swing mini excavator designed for construction, utility, landscaping, and site preparation work. It is part of JCB's 5-ton class mini excavator range and is built for operation in confined spaces where reduced rear overhang is important. The machine typically features a conventional boom and dipper arrangement, hydraulic controls, and a tracked undercarriage for stability and traction. The 55Z-1 is commonly used for digging, trenching, grading, and material handling.
