????????????????????????????????

This is one of the cleanest and most complete CPT truck setups we have seen.

Built on a heavy-duty Western Star 4900 tri-drive chassis, this truck was purpose-built around a 20-ton / 200 kN CPT push system with substantial ballast, water ballast, a fully enclosed and heated CPT workspace, onboard power systems, extensive rod storage, operator cameras, and supporting CPT equipment.

The truck has been meticulously maintained and has traveled only approximately 100 km since completion of an extensive end-to-end service.

What really separates this unit is the overall completeness of the package. Maintenance records, inspection documentation, operating information, spares, tooling records, and supporting paperwork have all been retained.

A separate Vertek CPT data and tooling package is also available and can be included depending on the buyer’s needs.

???????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

- CAT C15 diesel engine
- Factory-authorized ECM horsepower increase to 525 HP
- Approximately 12,802 engine hours
- Approximately 442,000 km / 277,000 miles
- Eaton Fuller 18-speed manual transmission
- Full locking rear differentials
- Inter-axle lock
- Chelsea / Parker PTO
- Tri-drive axle configuration
- Factory double truck frame
- Air-ride suspension
- Air-ride cab
- Deluxe interior
- Full gauge package
- Positive air shutoff system
- 68,600 lb factory GVWR

???????????? ???????????????? ????????????????????????

- 20-ton / 200 kN CPT push system
- Foot clamp
- Dedicated hydraulic system
- PTO-driven hydraulic power
- CPT-only hour meter
- Approximately 1,500 hours estimated on the CPT hydraulic / PTO system since the 2010 build
- CPT rod storage racks
- Approximately 60 meters of rod storage capacity
- Integrated operator control area
- Operator camera system for truck positioning and push monitoring

The push system, hydraulic package, and clamping hardware are part of the truck’s purpose-built CPT installation and are not being represented as Vertek-manufactured components.

???????????????????????? ????????????????, ???????????????????????????? & ???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????

A separate Vertek CPT package is available with the truck and can be included depending on the buyer’s needs.

The Vertek package includes CPT data acquisition components and associated field equipment, including items such as:

- Vertek Data Pack system
- Associated cables
- CPT rods
- Cones
- Supporting CPT tooling
- Related software and data equipment

The truck can be purchased with or without the Vertek data, tooling, and software package.

A detailed Vertek equipment list can be provided to qualified buyers once finalized.

???????????????????????????? ????????????????????????

The truck was purpose-built with a substantial ballast system to provide the reaction weight needed for CPT production.

Equipment includes:

- 13 pig-iron ballast beams
- Approximately 1,650 lb per beam
- Approximately 21,500 lb of steel ballast
- Two 400-gallon water ballast tanks
- Approximately 8,000 lb of additional water ballast capacity
- 2" cam-lock fill and drain connections
- Fire-hose adapter
- Dedicated side access doors for the steel ballast beams

The steel ballast beams are individually secured and can be removed if a future owner wants to permanently or semi-permanently reduce truck weight.

Ballast removal should be considered a planned shop or yard operation rather than a routine field adjustment. Each beam weighs approximately 1,600–1,650 lb and would require appropriate lifting, support, and handling equipment. No dedicated ballast-removal fixture or handling apparatus is included.

???????????? ???????????? / ????????????????????????????????????

The truck is equipped with a 23-foot insulated and heated CPT body designed for year-round field operation.

Features include:

- Heated and insulated workspace
- CPT laboratory / operator area
- 110V lighting
- Auxiliary 12V lighting
- Shore-power connection
- Automatic inverter / shore-power switching
- Xantrex inverter system
- Four Group 31 batteries
- Microwave
- Refrigerator
- Auxiliary A/C
- Sony receiver
- Honda 3000W quiet inverter generator
- Operator camera system
- Camera monitors in both the CPT work area and truck cab

The auxiliary generator allows the CPT workspace to operate without continuously idling the truck during extended standby periods, dissipation testing, overnight heating, or other lower-load work.

One of the strongest parts of this package is how recently and thoroughly the truck has been gone through.

The seller reports the truck has traveled only approximately 100 km since completion of a major end-to-end service.

- Approximately 100 km traveled since service

????????????????????????????????????

This truck has been meticulously maintained and is one of the cleanest specialized CPT setups we have come across.

What stands out is not just the physical condition. It is the complete history behind the machine — maintenance records, inspections, service documentation, operating information, spares, and the level of thought that went into the original build.

It is difficult to find comparable CPT trucks in North America that combine this level of equipment, documentation, condition, and overall completeness.

???????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ????????????????????????????????????

- Meticulously maintained
- Approximately 100 km since major end-to-end service
- Complete maintenance history
- Up-to-date commercial inspections
- Recent NDT inspection
- Recent CAT engine oil analysis
- 20-ton / 200 kN CPT push system
- Heavy tri-drive Western Star platform
- Removable steel ballast
- 800-gallon water ballast system
- Heated and insulated CPT workspace

- Well-documented service history

???????????????????????????????? ????????????????

This is a genuinely hard package to duplicate.

We see a lot of specialized drilling and geotechnical equipment, and this is one of the cleanest and most complete CPT truck builds we have come across.

The truck has been meticulously maintained, has traveled only approximately 100 km since an extensive end-to-end service, and comes with an unusually complete paper trail including maintenance history, current inspections, NDT documentation, engine oil analysis, operating information, and supporting records.

The purpose-built tri-drive chassis, 20-ton push system, heavy ballast package, enclosed CPT workspace, onboard power systems, rod storage, cameras, and support equipment represent a tremendous amount of engineering and fabrication that would be expensive and time-consuming to recreate today.

A separate Vertek CPT data and tooling package, including the Data Pack system, cables, rods, cones, software, and related equipment, can also be included for a buyer looking for a more complete turnkey CPT operation.

Based on the seller’s pricing expectations, the complete package is expected to represent roughly 30–40% of the cost of a comparable new CPT setup, depending on final configuration, exchange rate, tariffs, and import costs.

For a contractor looking to add serious CPT capability without taking on the cost and lead time of a comparable new build, this is a rare opportunity.
