The traditional method of moving concrete road barriers with slings and chains is slow and lacks control. Having tag line operators working close to moving traffic is unsafe. And a dropped barrier — even from just a few inches off the ground — creates a very dangerous situation. The HL B2 offers a faster, safer way to handle oversized barriers up to 23,200 lb. (10,523 kg) and 30 ft. long.

Also available from Vacuworx, the HL B1 hydraulic lifter is designed to lift concrete road barriers up to 6,000 lb. (2,721 kg) and 12 ft. (3.6 m) long.
