Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES) has combined the operations of its Irwindale branch, located at 12747 Schabarum Ave., Irwindale, Calif., with the VCES branch in Corona, located at 22099 Knabe Rd., Corona, Calif. All full sales, rentals, parts and services originated from the Corona location.

Mike Franks, branch manager, said of the Aug. 1 merger, “The move allowed us to take advantage of the full potential of the Corona location — expanding our parts department and service capabilities. Maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction has always been our goal and this move will streamline our efforts.”

Franks said the merging of the resources and personnel from both locations will provide VCES customers with a higher level of customer service and careful planning is going into the transition to ensure that uninterrupted personalized service.

The recently updated Corona facility features a larger, more diverse team of technical parts personnel, and centralized the rental and sales departments. The expanded parts department will include a wider offering of all the product lines represented by VCES — making it even easier to meet even the most demanding customer’s needs.

As a convenience to its customers, the VCES Corona branch location will be adding parts delivery services, and expediting technicians from various locations throughout the L.A. basin.

VCES is the authorized dealer in California for Volvo Construction Equipment, Compact Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Road Machinery, Doosan Portable Power & Air, Champion Motor Graders, Dressta Crawler Dozers, and Stanley LaBounty products, with six strategic locations throughout California providing sales, rentals, parts and service.
