On Feb. 6, Vermeer Midwest in Chesterfield, Mo., opened its doors to customers for an all-day open house. Event attendees enjoyed guided tours, equipment on display, and educational sessions from partnered vendors.

While the building opened five years ago, Vermeer Midwest recently underwent a remodel to add a Training Center to the facility.

“We have become more intentional about customer and employee training,” said Chad Van Soelen, general manager. “The new Training Center will allow us to invest in people; making them equipped to do more on and off the job.”

Vermeer Midwest is an authorized dealer of Vermeer underground construction, tree care and environmental equipment. The dealership group was established in 1971 in Eureka, Ill., and has since grown to a nine-store network spanning Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Michigan.
