Located in the heart of downtown Sacramento, Golden 1 Center boasts a modern architectural design and cutting-edge technology to enhance the fans' event experience. For 26 months, EarthCam's construction cameras were onsite to document each stage of the project. Using a unique combination of live streaming video cameras and time-lapse webcams, including EarthCam's billion pixel panorama system, fans were able to be a part of the process thanks to the views made available online via a public web page.

“EarthCam has put us in position to give fans an all-access look at Golden 1 Center, from site demolition to arena ribbon cutting,” said Andrew Nicholson, senior director of digital & integrated communications for the Sacramento Kings. “As we usher in a new era of Kings basketball and world-class events in Sacramento, we're thrilled to share a comprehensive time-lapse of the historic project.”
