On July 18, 2026, Lano Equipment and engcon welcomed contractors, operators and equipment owners to its Shakopee, Minn., location for engcon demo day, an event built around hands-on displays of tiltrotators and excavator attachments.
Rather than simply displaying equipment, Lano transformed part of its yard into an interactive demonstration area. Multiple-sized excavators were equipped with different attachment setups, each designed to mirror real-world job site tasks. The format allowed contractors to test and evaluate the equipment under realistic working conditions rather than through a traditional static display, giving them a better understanding of how the technology performs in the field.
Attendees had the opportunity to operate engcon-equipped excavators in practical applications. They could compare attachment configurations and see how each setup performed in different job site scenarios. From precision block placement to material handling, digging and grading, the activities were designed to replicate the kinds of work contractors encounter every day.
Members of the engcon and Lano teams were on site to provide product knowledge, answer questions and help attendees get the most out of each demonstration.
