Volvo Construction Equipment Inc. (Volvo CE Rents), has announced the signing of franchise agreements for new Volvo equipment rental centers in the metropolitan Philadelphia, PA, area.

Wenner Equipment Inc., 1309 Wilmington Pike, West Chester, PA, and Ballantine Industrial Truck Service Inc., 1250 Wood Lane, Langhorne, PA, and their principals, John S. Wenner and Robert Mannherz, respectively, have entered into Volvo CE Rents franchise agreements to own and operate independent Volvo CE Rents centers in their cities.

All Volvo CE Rents centers are independently-owned and operated franchises within the Volvo Construction Equipment rental program. The rental centers will carry, in addition to Volvo construction equipment, a comprehensive line of essential equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial, and homeowner markets.

The Volvo CE Rents program covers all aspects of an operating rental business model and was designed and developed by Volvo Construction Equipment Rents Inc. Program features include use of the Volvo brand, financial assistance, a fleet purchasing program for non-Volvo products, a Volvo Rents proprietary software program, training, facility design, safety training and procedures, and regional and local marketing.

Principal Volvo products for its franchised rental centers include its line of compact excavators and wheel loaders and the company’s backhoe and skid steer loaders.
