Volvo Taps JPS Equipment for New CE Rents in Alexandria, LA

Volvo Construction Equipment Rents Inc. (Volvo CE Rents), announced the opening of its fifth independently owned franchise equipment rental center in Louisiana.

The Volvo CE Rents rental company is the second Volvo franchise in the state for its owners, K. Paul and Margaret L. Bullock, principals of JPS Equipment LLC, who opened their first Volvo rental center in October of 2003 in West Monroe.

The new JPS Equipment rental center is located at 6407 Masonic Drive, in Alexandria.

The Alexandria rental center will carry, in addition to Volvo construction, a comprehensive line of equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets.

Principal Volvo products for its rental centers include the company’s line of compact excavators and wheel loaders as well as backhoe and skid steer loaders.

The Volvo CE Rents franchise program, designed and developed by Volvo Construction Equipment Rents Inc., covers all aspects of an operating rental business model. Program features include use of the Volvo brand, financial assistance, a fleet purchasing program for non-Volvo products, a Volvo CE Rents proprietary software program, training, facility design and regional and local marketing.

Volvo CE Rents began its equipment rental franchise initiative in 2001. It has rental centers open in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, California, Tennessee, Ohio, South Carolina, Louisiana, New York, Minnesota, Arkansas, New Jersey, Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, New Mexico, Washington and Pennsylvania.

Additional Volvo CE Rents will open within the next few months in Houston and Dallas, Texas and in three major markets in Mississippi.

In addition to these franchises, the company has franchise agreements signed with other North America business interests seeking independently owned and operated franchise opportunities in the equipment rental business.

Volvo CE Rents recently opened a new rental center in Madrid, Spain, the first of a planned 18 locations during the next three years in Spain.
