Wade J. Messer of Wm F. Comly & Son Inc. Passes at Age 56

Long-time member of the Wm F. Comly & Son Inc. family, Wade J. Messer, died on July 20. He was 56.

Mr. Messer was a management fixture at Comly for 24 years. Starting in the warehouse, he worked his way up to running sales. Mr. Messer made himself available to help with every aspect of an auction from start to finish. He specialized in working behind the scenes, and everyone including consignors found him extremely helpful.

He was a dedicated and loyal member of the Comly team and the vital, driving force that organized the frenzy of preparations making every event run smoothly and with great precision.

Mr. Messer was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan, and in his free time enjoyed riding his two Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Mr. Messer is survived by his children Dawn and Wade Jr., his grandchildren Danny Emery Jr., Kayla and Lil Man, and his beloved life partner Maureen Pardalis, her children and grandchildren, a brother Bob and cousin Bob Walton.

Wm F. Comly & Son Inc. closed its office on July 25 in observance of his passing.
