Western States Equipment Company sponsored the Western States Cat 6th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament benefiting the Idaho Ronald McDonald House. The event took place on May 30 at Black Dog Clays in Boise, Idaho.
The goal this year was to raise $60,000 for the Idaho Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House is 100 percent funded through charitable donations. It hosts two major fundraising events a year, and this Sporting Clays Tournament in one of them.
“We could not be more excited to be a part of this event,” said Western States’s President Tom Harris. “Every year our customers, partners, employees and community rally together for this amazing and worthwhile event.”
The Lewis Class event included the 100 bird main event, all new 12 gauge Winchester ammunition, lunch and a participant gift. Stand and side games ran throughout the day. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Idaho Ronald McDonald House.
In addition, a silent auction was held. Among the many outstanding items available were an artist’s proof of an original work created for the event by Ward Hooper, a commemorative shotgun, Southwest Airlines tickets, and much more.
