After 20 years as president of Whayne Supply Company, Bill Pullen retired and the board of Directors has elected Monty L. Boyd, president and CEO.

Pullen came to Whayne from Caterpillar in February, 1971 and served in various sales management positions before becoming president in 1985.

According to the company, Pullen’s tenure as president of the company is marked with growth and expansion.

Under his direction, the company became more decentralized and took on new endeavors to increase business volume and customer service. Pullen also served as president of AED (Associated Equipment Distributors) in 1995.

Boyd has served the company since October 1984, initially as eastern region sales manager, then as machine sales manager, vice president –– Eastern Operations and most recently as executive vice president –– Operations.

Prior to joining Whayne, Boyd spent nearly ten years in the Caterpillar Inc. organization.

Whayne Supply Company is a dealer for Caterpillar Inc., Reedrill, Trail King, Thomas Built Buses, Challenger, Sullair, Allmand and other lines of construction, industrial, mining and ag equipment.
