Construction Equipment Guide

Bil-jax Inc. has made several product improvements to its Workforce 4725A boom lift. The 4725A lift is an articulating, trailer-mounted boom that features a 47-ft. (14.3 m) maximum working height and a 25-ft. (7.6 m) maximum outreach. The proportional control system on the 4725A boom is designed to provide ease of operation and increased safety. Featuring controllers that are easy to use and providing complete feathering of control functions, the system allows rental customers infinite variability in speeds for all control circuits. This improvement gives the operator greater control of the boom function speeds along with added safety and ease of use according to Bob Yoder, sales manager of the Workforce product line.

Another feature on the 4725A boom lift is the addition of an error code system that visually informs the operator if an electrical malfunction should happen to occur.
