Yoder and Frey held its 8th Annual Fall Auction in Darlington (Pittsburgh), Pa., on Oct. 21. The auction drew a large crowd of bidders vying for a variety of construction equipment on consignment from local contractors and dealers.
The equipment up for bid included crawler tractors and dozers, backhoes, excavators and skid steers as well as trucks and trailers. One John Deere 310C backhoe brought in $14,750.
Contractors may have had last year’s tough Pittsburgh winter in mind when bidding on the lineup of new Pro-Tech snow pushers, which went for $2,700 to $4,000 each.
