Industry veteran Kevin Simmons has joined Yoder & Frey as Georgia regional sales manager to drive expansion in the southeastern United States.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the heavy machinery sector — primarily at a leading Caterpillar dealership — Simmons has built a distinguished career in sales and management.

Simmons's journey started in the parts department before he transitioned to used sales, branch management and eventually into leadership roles overseeing multiple territories. His extensive experience in both new and used equipment sales, particularly in heavy construction, earthmoving machinery and forestry, making him a perfect fit for Yoder & Frey's continued growth strategy.

"The opportunity with Yoder & Frey was too good to pass up," Simmons said. "Working for a smaller company with strong family values and exciting growth potential really appealed to me. I've known about Yoder and Frey for years, buying and selling through them and I've also been keeping an eye on the Euro Auctions brand as it has expanded globally."

Simmons was impressed by the hands-on leadership at Yoder & Frey and Euro Auctions.

"At the recent Kissimmee sale, the owners of the Euro Auctions Group were actively involved," said Simmons. "When a machine wouldn't start and couldn't be moved across the ramp, the president of the company personally stepped in, jerry-rigged it and got it moving. That was incredibly refreshing to witness, the company founder working alongside his team. I've never seen anything like it."

In his new role, Simmons, based in Georgia, will leverage his industry expertise and network to bring new business to Yoder & Frey's auction locations in Ohio, Florida, Texas and Georgia.
