Construction Equipment Guide

The ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. announced the opening of ALL Crane Rental of Louisiana, the newest branch of the ALL Family of Companies. Located centrally between Baton Rouge and New Orleans in Geismar, La., the company’s 31st yard will fulfill the demand for heavy lift equipment in the Gulf Region, strategically supported by the nine additional Southeast members of the ALL Family of Companies. Owing to current demand in the region and due to the support of these sister companies, ALL has 45 to 50 cranes currently working on long-term projects in New Orleans.

Prior to the new branch in Louisiana, ALL most recently added a branch in Mobile, Ala.

The new full-service yard in Louisiana will serve the region around Baton Rouge and New Orleans, including Gulfport, La., and Biloxi and Jackson, Miss. The general manager and other key appointments are pending.

ALL Crane Rental of Louisiana is looking to hire qualified local employees immediately and also seeking local suppliers so it can establish roots in the community. The Louisiana branch is located at 37316 Highway 74, Geismar, LA 70734.

Growing New Branches

The model of geographically tangent growth is a system steadfastly adhered to by the ALL enterprise to ensure that local, regional and national customers benefit from the strength of the entire family of companies.

Michael Liptak, president of the ALL Family of Companies, said, “We never open outposts to stand alone, unsupported. Instead we have grown carefully for three generations. We consider each new branch to be a necessity to local customers, but also part of a chain, one made stronger link-by-link.”

Michael Nunley, ALL southeast regional sales manager, added, “We also know that the continued success of our company depends on good citizenship in the communities where we work. We try to build those relationships by using local suppliers and hiring locally.”

ALL Crane Rental of Louisiana will have a fully staffed service department. “Our brand will attract the region’s best operators to be supported by dedicated safety, sales, and logistics personnel. Of course, we’ll house world-class equipment,” Nunley said.

ALL Corporate Growth History

When ALL Erection & Crane Rental was founded by the three Liptak brothers in 1964, they formed a plan for the growth of the enterprise by getting it right the first time. By backing their business with hard work, reliable products and outstanding customer service, they laid the foundation for a company that would stand the test of time. The fleet began to grow, and a family business, not to mention a new industry, was born.

For ALL, adding a new branch isn’t taken lightly. In the early years, success to ALL meant investing, not spreading out. The company founders made sure they established their brand and their service capabilities before they started expanding.

Becoming self-sufficient made ALL able to compete in the marketplace and stay cost effective. The company maintains and staffs its own service departments for all of the equipment it rents and sells, including an engine shop, hydraulic department, paint shop, weld shop and fabrication shop. ALL Crane also maintains its own truck and trailer shop and glass department. Over the years, they methodically acquired other established crane companies to help serve their growing customer base, and the family company became the ALL Family of Companies. Today, the company’s many strategic locations serve all of North America.

“Our original vision of a dynamic, forward-thinking company, able to anticipate and meet the changing needs of its customers, still stands. The ALL Family of Companies’ global reach, customized local support, and commitment to investing in long-term incremental growth have helped make us a world leader in lift equipment,” Liptak said.
