The appraisal industry's best and brightest gathered as members of the Equipment Appraisers Association of North America (EAANA) came together for their annual meeting and to bring to a close their 25th year. In addition to charter members Jim Balsarini, Lee Carroll, Scott Forke, Mike Hunyady and Alex Paris also attending were 60 regular members and 12 guests.

In addition to the regular two day meeting, members had the opportunity to arrive a day early and attend the seven hour Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) update course, thus fulfilling one of the requirements for EAANA membership, current USPAP certification.

Members and guests traveled from 28 states and five Canadian provinces to attend the annual meeting and to welcome to office the newly appointed president, Richard Kriebel, Hunyady Appraisal Services, and newly elected Vice President, David DiBenedetto, DiBenedetto Appraisal Services. Both will serve two year terms.

Among the guest speakers were Everlee DeWall of EOS North America to speak about 3-D printing; Charles Cathey, editor of “Black Book: Heavy Trucks & Trailers;” and Richard Fanter, “Economic Outlook.”

With hundreds of years of combined appraisal experience, strict member guidelines, and yearly certification requirements, EAANA has become the premier organization of the machinery and equipment appraisal industry.
