Association of Equipment Manufacturer's (AEM) exhibitor engagement department has won the The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) Outstanding Marketing & Sales Award for 2019. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in marketing and sales activities outstanding performances in total event revenue, advertising revenue, attendance and more.
As part of AEM's 2017 strategic plan, the department was created as a standalone area focused on exhibitor value and has already seen great success. Some of the statistics that helped AEM win this award include the 7 percent increase in pre-show satisfaction, 95 percent of calls being answered in two minutes or less and a 90 percent satisfaction score from exhibitors at AEM shows and events.
We believe the greatest value is the increased satisfaction scores that were achieved by building trust through our service abilities, helping exhibitors succeed," said AEM Senior Vice President Megan Tanel. "The department strives to not only excel in customer service efforts but to provide tangible tools and data that enable our members and exhibitors to measure and manage their ROI results. "The department consists of four AEM employees dedicated to providing exhibitors with resources to navigate all the tools and information to achieve optimal value out of their trade shows.

"We strive to provide the best possible show environments for our exhibitor and receiving this award speaks to that effort. Award recipients will be honored at the Annual Networking Luncheon and Awards Presentation during Expo! Expo!, IAEE's Annual Meeting & Exhibition to be held Dec. 3-5, 2019, at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
