In an effort to establish active working relationships with its customers, Atlas Copco Construction Tools Inc. has installed a nationwide network of service representatives for its newly expanded line of large hydraulic breakers. As part of this network, Atlas Copco Construction Tools announces the appointment of six new service managers and hydraulic hammer specialists.

Managing the new Atlas Copco Service Center in Austin, TX, Keith Becker brings several years of hydraulic systems experience to his position. His new role includes supervising equipment reconditioning and rebuilds, managing parts and customer service, with direct service responsibilities in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Before joining Atlas Copco, Becker worked as a service and parts manager at Superior Machinery in San Antonio, TX, and for two years as a regional service manager at Allied Construction Products in Cleveland, OH.

Becker also served nine years as a hydraulic mechanic in the Marines

Matt Cadnum has been named manager of Atlas Copco’s new Cleveland Service Center and will be responsible for all service operations there. Also joining Atlas Copco from Allied Construction Products, where he worked for four years, Cadnum will oversee service on hydraulic tools.

Appointed to the position of western region service manager, Jim Jodoin is responsible for service in eleven western states, plus Alaska and Hawaii.

Joining the Atlas Copco team from Allied Construction Products, where he worked for four years as a regional service manager, Jodoin also previously served for eight years as a service manager at Sandvik-Tamrock Rammer in Atlanta.

Jodoin is responsible for a variety of service applications, including installing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, as well as warranty evaluation, training and sales support. He reports to Keith Becker at the Austin-based service center.

Specializing in hydraulic attachment technical support, Rich Elliott has been appointed as eastern region service manager, covering territory in the United States east of the Mississippi. Elliott’s responsibilities will include installing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing machines in addition to warranty evaluation, training and sales support.

A regional service manager at Allied Construction Products for three-and-a-half years, Elliott gained most of his hydraulic systems experience working at Lorenz Equipment in Columbus, OH, where he is now based. Elliott reports to Matt Cadnum at the Cleveland-based service center.

Dubbed the hydraulic breaker “guru” of the team, Kevin Loomis has been appointed to hydraulic applications manager and will also share his hydraulic breaker expertise as the lead trainer.

He is responsible for the installation, testing and commission of Atlas Copco’s two largest hydraulic breakers, as well as training both internal and external sales people and service technicians. Before serving for 13 years in a variety of technical positions at Allied Construction Products, Loomis gained technical experience working as a mechanic for a John Deere dealer in Brunswick, OH.

Based in Austin, TX, Wayne Shero has been named Texas Regional Center sales and remarketing manager. Shero will oversee the remarketing efforts that will take place via the existing dealer network, auctions, the Internet and export.

With 20 years of experience in construction equipment and a strong background in hydraulic breakers, he brings technical experience including two-and-a-half years at Allied Construction Products, as well as time as an independent consultant.
