World of Asphalt is spotlighting the leadership of Tim Gorman as the 2027 show chair.
Since stepping into the role a year ago, Gorman has guided the strategic direction of World of Asphalt as the show builds on the momentum of its successful 2025 event in St. Louis and prepares for its first show in New Orleans.
"World of Asphalt continues to be an important gathering place for asphalt and aggregates professionals to connect, share ideas and see the equipment and solutions that are moving our industry forward," said Gorman. "I'm honored to serve as chair and help support a show that delivers real value to producers, contractors and exhibitors alike."
When he's not advancing the World of Asphalt Show & Conference, Gorman is division vice president of Rogers Group Inc, a producer of asphalt and aggregates materials in the United States. With extensive experience in asphalt production, construction and transportation infrastructure, he is an active leader within the industry.
He also serves in volunteer leadership roles with the National Asphalt Pavement Association and the Alabama Asphalt Pavement Association, helping direct the future of the asphalt pavement industry through advocacy, education, and strategic planning.
"Tim [Gorman] brings a strong producer perspective and a deep understanding of the asphalt and aggregates industries to this role," said Brittany Schmidtke, World of Asphalt show director. "Through his work as chair he has helped shape important conversations around the attendee and exhibitor experience, the show's value to the industry and the continued growth of World of Asphalt.”
World of Asphalt will make its New Orleans debut Mar. 15-17, 2027, bringing industry professionals together for three days of exhibits, education and networking. Co-located with the AGG1 Academy & Expo, the event connects asphalt, paving and aggregates professionals with leading manufacturers, practical solutions and industry insights that help move their businesses forward.
