Bar None Begins 2016 With Successful January Sale

Despite the less than ideal weather conditions, a good crowd turned out for the first Bar None event of the year.

 Zeb Seidel, Bar None CEO and auctioneer, paused in front of the Cat 308C that he would later sell to the highest bidder. Seidel commented that sales are brisk in Sacramento as well as at their other sites in Riverside, Calif., and Portland, Ore.
 Giovanni Gonzales of B&D Excavating in San Francisco is pictured with the John Deere 323D skid steer that caught his eye.  
 GS Chocker of Bekka Construction of Sacramento put the John Deere 310 J  Ron Machado (L) of Rivercrest Ranches in Ripon, Calif., was on hand along with almond farmer Nick Alta, also of Ripon. Alta was looking for a backhoe and showed serious interest in the Case 580.

Bar None Auction held a public sale of heavy equipment and commercial trucks on Jan. 9, 2016. The auction was conducted at its permanent site on Power Inn Road in Sacramento, Calif.
