Best Line Equipment is rounding out the year in exciting fashion by announcing the opening of its new facility in West Chester, Pa. This project began with a ceremonial ground breaking on May 15, 2013, and is now open to the public. The 24,500 sq. ft. facility includes offices, parts storage and a large service area able to house large Doosan excavators. Ryan Houseknecht, project manager, said that this location is one of the nicest in the Best Line Family.

“This facility is a great representation for the vision of Best Line. It provides a great work environment for our employees and will satisfy the needs of our customer base with ease.”

The new location opened to the public Nov. 11, but Best Line has had a presence in the area due to its Hatboro, Pa., location. With the addition of the West Chester facility, Best Line will better serve customers in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

Michael Houseknecht, owner/president, is excited for the opportunity to expand the business into this area.

“Our priority is to serve our customers, and to do it well. Adding a large facility in this area allows us to be more efficient with our process, which translates into a better customer experience.”

Best Line Equipment is one of the largest Bobcat dealers in the country, and will feature the dealership at the West Chester location. Bobcat is a worldwide leader in skid steer and track loaders, compact excavators, attachments and utility work vehicles. Craig Grove, Bobcat sales manager of Best Line, said that this is a great opportunity for the company.

“We are excited to bring Bobcat back to the area. With our top notch parts availability and service, we will be able to serve the customers in the area better than ever before.”

Joining the Bobcat brand in retail will be Doosan Heavy Equipment, giving access to large frame wheel loaders and excavators. JLG, Thompson Pumps, Stihl and Honda Outdoor Power Equipment are some other brands that will join the fold at the West Chester facility.

Best Line Equipment also features rental equipment including aerial lifts, forklifts, air compressors, generators, compaction equipment, excavators, loaders and trailers. This equipment will feature familiar brands like JLG, Genie, TCM, Bomag, Sakai, Bri-Mar and Honda OPE to name a few. Best Line Equipment’s vast array of options opens up possibilities to assist anyone on large building projects down to residential construction.

The new facility is located at 515 South Bolmar St. in West Chester, located on the old Davis Lumber site less than a mi. from the Westtown exit off Route 202.
