Border Equipment hosted an open house event on April 14 at the company’s headquarters in Augusta, Ga. The event was held to introduce the recent addition of Toro Dingo and Toro underground machines, as well as Case Construction Equipment with Leica Geosystems machine control technologies, and Ring-O-Matic hydro excavation equipment. Representatives of Toro, Case Construction Equipment, Leica Geosystems and Diamond Mowers were among those who were in attendance to help support the event.

More than 300 attendees turned out to enjoy barbecue chicken and ribs and live music from popular local musician Daniel Johnson. Hats and accessories were given away and special prize drawings took place every 15 minutes. Ray Tuten, Southern Landscape, Evans, Ga., won one of the top prizes, a stainless steel grill, valued at $800.

A mini-excavator equipment rodeo event attracted more than 80 contestants vying for the first place cash prize.
