Cashman Equipment Company celebrated the grand opening of its newest equipment rental store April 12. More than 200 attendees witnessed the event, which took place at 4880 East Nye Lane, Carson City, Nev.

Members of the local City Council and Chamber of Commerce accompanied MaryKaye Cashman, CEO and chairman of Cashman Equipment Company, in commencing the day’s festivities with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Also in attendance were Jim Timmons, rental operations manager; Dave Damboise, sales manager; Mike Pack, president; Lee Vanderpool, vice president and several other representatives of Cashman’s sales, marketing and service teams.

Timmons commented, “Our Carson City customers are extremely pleased with our new store and the convenient location. We’re happy to be a part of this growing community.”

Timmons added that the building was built by Q & D Construction and is owned by Julius Ballardini.

The crowd registered to win prizes and dined on a catered lunch, enjoyed the roar of a Caterpillar racecar and had an opportunity to tour the ACERT truck, which provides an up close look at Cat’s environmentally friendly engine display.

The Cashman CAT Rental Store offers a variety of equipment for rent on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Store hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

With more than 1,500 sq. ft. of office space, local customers have access to Cashman’s rental and service departments (including a four-bay service shop), and on-site delivery services. The store has a wide array of rental equipment for backyard construction needs and larger industrial jobs.

James “Big Jim” Cashman founded Cashman Equipment Company in 1931.
