Construction Equipment Guide was recently invited inside the Live the Difference 2026 experience, in which FAE welcomed hundreds of customers, dealers, business partners and employees from around the world to northern Italy.

This global gathering was designed by FAE to showcase not only the company's equipment and manufacturing capabilities, but also the people, relationships and culture behind the FAE brand.

More than a traditional equipment event, Live the Difference gave guests from more than 40 countries an inside look at FAE through factory tours, live demonstrations of the manufacturing and testing processes and activities unique to the region — bringing together the company's international community in the place where FAE began.

The event began with tours of FAE's production facilities in Gambellara, in the province of Vicenza, and Fondo, in the Val di Non region of Trentino. The tours gave attendees an opportunity to see FAE's most advanced manufacturing operations and learn more about the production of the company's equipment and attachments. Numerous cutting-edge processes were on display, from laser cutting and sheet metal bending to automated welding.

The Fondo facility is located in the Val di Non, a region known for its apple production, historic castles and mountain scenery. The area, sometimes referred to as the “Valley of Castles” or “Valley of Apples” provided an interesting backdrop to the factory portion of the event. Here, guests witnessed the advanced rotor balancing process, precision assembly, state-of-the-art final testing and quality control procedures.

The second day, which brought guests to the FAE offices in Fondo, took on a festive atmosphere with displays of FAE's lineup of equipment for forestry, land clearing, agriculture and road construction, along with entertainment and remarks from FAE President Diego Scanzoni and branch CEOs from around the world, including the USA, Canada, Germany, France, China, Japan, and Australia.

FAE USA CEO Giorgio Carera welcomed the guests from the United States by inviting the crowd to give them a big round of applause. He continued:

“Tonight, we are celebrating more than a company. We are celebrating a community — a community built on relationships, trust, and shared values. We are proud of what we have accomplished together over the years, and we believe the best is yet to come. Welcome to the FAE family, welcome to our community, and welcome to our home. Let's continue to make a difference.”

A focal point of the event was the FAE Village, where attendees could see equipment and technology up close. The displays provided an opportunity to examine FAE's machines and attachments, providing insight into performance in the field.

As the sun began to set over the valley surrounding FAE's Fondo facility, the “FAE Village Experience” moved toward what appeared to be its grand finale. Hundreds of drones took to the sky, creating a choreographed light show against the mountain backdrop, drawing the attention of the entire crowd by depicting FAE equipment, imagery representative of the FAE story, and ending with an inspiring, glowing FAE logo.

Following the drone show, guests were guided into a previously unseen area of FAE's PT production facility: one that had intentionally been left out of the earlier factory tours.

Inside, the industrial space had been completely transformed to accommodate more than 1,000 guests for dinner and an immersive, futuristic show that would bring the evening to a close.

Before the Live the Difference celebration dinner, FAE President Diego Scanzoni welcomed guests from around the world to the celebration, opening his captivating speech with the following words:

“This event isn't celebrating any particular milestone. More than a year ago, we simply decided that the time had come to do something I'd had in mind for some time. To take the opportunity to pause and say thank you. Thank you for the trust you've placed in us over all these years. Thank you for continuing to choose our products. Thank you for continuing to believe in FAE.

But there was another reason we wanted to have this event. We wanted to open the doors of our home to you. We wanted to show you who we are, how we work, how we build our products, and, above all, the principles on which we've built this company. And we wanted to make one thing absolutely clear.

FAE has been by your side over all these years, and FAE wants to remain by your side for many years to come. Because we continue to invest in the future. We invest in products, of course. We invest in technology. But above all, we invest in people, in ideas and in the values we want to pass on to future generations.”

Following Scanzoni's inspiring speech, dinner was served. The evening continued with musical and artistic performances that lasted throughout the night.
