Movember is here — and that means it's time to make a difference for men's health.

In 2004, the Movember Foundation began fighting for men's health by highlighting some of the biggest health issues plaguing men, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide awareness. As support continues to grow, the foundation believes that by 2030, it will be able to help reduce the premature death rate in men by 25 percent.

You Can Make a Difference

As its name suggests, Movember is all about men growing out their moustaches to help spark conversations, garner donations and raise awareness.

This year, the construction industry has created its own Movember challenge:

"For the men and women who prefer their hats hard, using their hands for more than just typing at a computer and turning blueprints into buildings," the official page says. "The US Construction Challenge is for anyone who works in the construction industry."

Participants can join teams within the challenge, or create their own, to raise money and awareness.
