The new Terex Pegson XH250 Trakpactor has been designed specifically to meet customer-identified needs and preferences in impact crushers and applications in crushing concrete/asphalt rubble, C&D debris and limestone with low to medium hardness. The 4-blow-bar horizontal impactor with mono block upper apron design and 33.4- by 33.4-in. (85 by 85 cm) rotor has a throughput capacity of up to 250 tons (227 t) per hour, depending on material. The plant is designed for increased scalping efficiency and high reduction ratio.
The slow speed, high stroke vibrating grizzly feeder has an under-screen and load-sensing control system. An under-crusher vibrating pan feeder protects the product conveyor in rugged applications. Full tunnel protection under the engine compartment helps optimize processing of recycling material.
Powered by a Caterpillar C-6-6 Tier III engine through an HFO clutch incorporating soft start, the crusher’s direct drive system optimizes running costs and keeps downtime to a minimum.
The product conveyor has hydraulic raise/lower for steel clearance and maximum 125 in. (317 cm) discharge height. The optional 23.6 in. (60 cm) wide, hydraulic folding dirt conveyor has an 85-in. (216 cm) discharge height.
Other standard features include rapid setup time, dust suppression sprays and canvas belt cover, heavy-duty I-beam chassis, heavy-duty bolt-on tracks, fixed Hardox hopper and overband magnet. Directional hood is optional.
