Darr Equipment LP recently announced the acquisition of the dealerships of Adobe Equipment Houston LLC, the leading material handling and construction equipment dealer for southeast Texas.

The Adobe Equipment dealerships currently employs over 260 people with 6 branch locations in Houston, 1 branch in Beaumont and a recently opened branch in Lake Charles, LA. Major material handling equipment lines for Adobe include Caterpillar, Jungheinrich, Kalmar, and Nissan / UniCarriers. In addition, Adobe Equipment is a full service JCB construction equipment dealer.

Material handling equipment lines for Darr Equipment, now in its 60th year, include Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich and Kalmar. Darr sells and services JCB construction equipment in its footprint as well. The addition of the Adobe Equipment dealerships brings Darr’s employee count to approximately 500, with 15 branches located from Tulsa, OK to Houston, TX.
