Construction Equipment Guide

CEAttachments Inc. a global supplier of attachments for compact equipment, added Edge 4-in-1 combination buckets to its lineup of specialty buckets for skid steer loaders.

One 4-in-1 combination bucket can be used for a variety of applications such as site cleanup, grading, scraping, grappling, dozing dirt, brush removal, material spreading and more.

These new multi-purpose buckets are constructed of high-strength steel and the clam shell bottom is shaped to prevent bowing of heavy material. Two sleeved and guarded heavy-duty cylinders provide powerful clamping, while cylinder components inside remain protected from debris, according to the manufacturer.

All buckets have a depth of 36.3 in. (92 cm) and a height of 21.3 in. (54 cm). Standard-duty models are recommended for loaders with operating capacities less than 2,400 lbs. (1,088 kg) and are available in 60, 66 and 72 in. (152, 167 and 183 cm) widths.

Heavy-duty models are recommended for loaders with operating capacities more than 2,400 lbs., are offered in 66, 72, 78 and 84 in. (167, 183, 198 and 213 cm) widths and are available in models with teeth or without teeth. The heavy-duty buckets also feature reinforcement plates in the bucket to withstand rugged applications, and a unique holding valve to keep the clam in locked position when needed.

All Edge 4-in-1 combination buckets come standard with .75 by 6 in. (1.9 by 15 cm) weld on cutting edges, as well as bolt on cutting edges for the front dozer edge and the rear of the clam edge. An optional cutting edge or serrated edge is available for the front bucket, and all units come complete with hoses and flat face couplers.

The new Edge 4-in-1 combination buckets join the lineup of Edge buckets including dirt/construction buckets, utility buckets, bulk material buckets, high dump buckets, skeleton rock buckets and utility fork buckets, as well as many bucket accessories, toothbars, bolt on edges and bolt on grapples.
