Elliott Equipment Company Bolsters Leadership Team With Two Strategic Hires

Elliott Equipment Company strengthens its leadership with two key hires: Andrew Schumacher as vice president of Nebraska operations and Chad Barrett as director of product management. Their expertise supports Elliott’s growth, operational excellence and product innovation in truck-mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranes.

Elliott Equipment Company, a manufacturer of truck-mounted aerial work platforms, digger derricks and cranes, announced the recent hire of two new leaders to support the company's continued growth and long-term investment in operational excellence and product innovation. Andrew Schumacher has joined the company as vice president of Nebraska operations, and Chad Barrett joins Elliott as director of product management.

Schumacher will report to Craig Shafer, Stellar chief operating officer and Barrett will report to Matt Schroeder, Stellar vice president of supply chain and product management, further strengthening the alignment between Elliott and Stellar.

This structure is designed to foster greater collaboration, accelerate shared operational and product development initiatives and create stronger synergies across the companies as both continue to work towards the shared goal of delivering innovative, customer-driven solutions for the industries they serve.

As vice president of Nebraska operations, Schumacher will oversee Elliott's production, quality, safety and engineering functions. With the full operations team reporting to Schumacher, he will be responsible for the continued advancement of operational excellence across the organization.

Schumacher brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in equipment manufacturing. Most recently, he served as general manager of Wayne Combustion Systems, a Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company. His career also includes several senior leadership roles, where he developed a deep expertise in operations leadership, engineering, lean manufacturing, team development and fostering a strong safety culture.

Elliott also announced the addition of Chad Barrett as director of product management. In this role, Barrett will lead ongoing development and enhancement of Elliott's product portfolio while strengthening the integration of customer feedback and marketing insights into Elliott product lines.

Barrett brings more than a decade of experience in engineering and product development within the utility equipment industry. His experience working directly with end users and industry stakeholders will help Elliott continue to deliver solutions that address real-world challenges while advancing safety, performance and reliability.
