Finn Corporation re-introduced the T400 HydroSeeder, a high-capacity machine designed to help contractors take on large-scale seeding, erosion control, post-construction, highway, pipeline and reclamation projects with confidence.
Built on the proven platform of the FINN T330 HydroSeeder, the T400 offers increased tank and material capacity for crews that need to cover more ground with fewer refills. The T400 features a 3,975-gal. liquid tank capacity, 3,600-gal. working capacity, and material capacity of 12,400 lbs. of granular solids and 1,800 lbs. of fiber mulch, making it well suited for demanding, high-volume applications.
The T400 shares many of the same components and operator-focused features as the T330, including a 134 hp John Deere 4045HFC04 industrial water-cooled Tier IV Final turbo diesel engine, a large centrifugal slurry pump, twin mechanical paddle agitators, liquid recirculation and independent pump and agitator controls.
Designed for convenience and efficiency, the T400 includes a large, sealed material loading hatch with a pivoting stainless steel bag cutter and safety grate; a ground-level control station with engine start/stop; throttle and pump controls; and a digital engine information display. Optional equipment includes stainless steel tank components, hydraulic hose reel packages, Airflush, radio remote control, a second fill port, hardened pump and rear spray bar.
In addition to bringing back a larger-capacity tank option, Finn also has added telematics capability to both the T330 and T400. This enhancement gives contractors another tool to help monitor equipment and manage fleet productivity.
