A new company has entered the construction equipment business in Florida — Fleet Solutions. The company, headquartered in Brandon, will specialize in buying and selling used construction equipment around the country and overseas.

The owner of Fleet Solutions, Terry North, began his career in the construction equipment field as an equipment operator in 1971. After working on road construction and strip mines for 7 years, North attended Ohio State University and studied welding engineering.

In 1982 North went to work for a Terex dealer in Florida and has since held the positions of product support sales representative, service manager, product support manager, rental manager and used equipment sales representative.

He has been affiliated with most all manufacturers including Deere, Hitachi, Caterpillar, Bomag, Ingersoll Rand, JCB, Komatsu, Gomaco and many more.

“With my 28 plus years of experience in the equipment business customers can rest assured I will get them the best machine for the money and represent it as it really is with integrity,” stated North.
