Foley Incorporated, the Caterpillar dealer for Northern New Jersey and Staten Island, recently announced the promotion of Jeff Merle to general line sales manager — construction division machine sales.
Merle attended Rutgers College and began his career with Foley 14 years ago. He started as a marketing trainee and moved into sales as a parts and service sales representative and was later promoted to account manager in machinery sales. In 2000, he was appointed used equipment manager for construction machinery.
In his new position, Merle will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and directing all field sales activity for construction machinery more than 100 horsepower.
