Fred Ridenour Announces Retirement From LiuGong

Ridenour has devoted 40 years of his life to the construction industry performing in a variety of roles.

LiuGong announced Fred Ridenour’s retirement from LiuGong North America on Dec. 31, 2013. Ridenour has devoted 40 years of his life to the construction industry performing in a variety of roles, including construction equipment sales and marketing, distribution and credit at the manufacturer level, with experience progressing from district sales manager in the northeastern United States, to product, marketing, sales, finance and credit management on a North American level.

Ridenour has represented multiple manufacturers during his career before LiuGong North America. His product experience includes conventional and hydraulic cranes mounted on crawler tracks, rubber tires and pedestals, hydraulic excavators ranging from 2 to 85 tons (1.8 to 77 t), wheel loaders ranging from 1 to 7 cu. yds. (.7 to 5.3 cu m), as well as compaction, skid steer, tractor loader backhoes and Diesel Pile hammer product lines.

Before joining LiuGong full-time, Ridenour worked for LiuGong on a consulting basis for three years. In 2010, he joined LiuGong North America as the GM of Business Operations.
