H.O. Penn Machinery Holds Customer Appreciation Event

A barbecue lunch, equipment demos, and product giveaways are all part of the fun at the event.

A delicious barbecue lunch was enjoyed by all. This event also provided an opportunity for attendees to learn about other industry-related services provided by Caterpillar and H.O. Penn Machinery. David Gillen (L) and Alan Sanzenbacher, both of H.O. Penn, were ready to answer questions about Caterpillar vocational trucks. H.O. Penn is one of the first distributors in the country to introduce the new Metso model 4000 shredder to its customers.  (L-R) are Scott Gilligan of H.O. The Caterpillar dozer simulator allows users to get the feel of the operation of a Cat dozer without climbing in the cab. The Caterpillar 279C tracked loader has proven to be a valuable tool in many applications that were previously handled by skid steer loaders. (L-R) are Jeremy Shaw of H.O. New Caterpillar earthmoving equipment was set up in a demo area where operators could take the controls of the Cat 420F tractor loader backhoe and other models. The recently released Caterpillar 336E excavator is tested out by Jim Lipovsky of J.T. Lipovsky Company in Shelton, Conn. David D. Ambrose (L) and David C. Ambrose, both of Weatherfield Construction in Weatherfield, Conn., inspect this Caterpillar hammer. Despite a rainy day, attendees traveled from across Connecticut to enjoy H.O. Penn’s hospitality.

H.O. Penn Machinery held a customer appreciation event and equipment show and demo June 6 at its Newington, Conn., location.

The event featured a barbecue lunch, equipment demos, product giveaways (including a free three-month, two-month and one-month rental of the winner’s choice of a Caterpillar 320E D6K, Caterpillar 950K or a Caterpillar 420F) and special show discounts. Additional prizes included an iPad, a Kindle Fire and an iPod Nano.

At the event attendees had the opportunity to climb aboard brand new Caterpillar machine models, including the Caterpillar 336E excavator, the K-series wheel loader, the K-2 series track loader and the F-series tractor loader backhoe.
