These Cat excavators are looking for a new home. Joe Casey, vice president of Bensalem Auto & Truck in Bensalem, Pa, takes a look at the Asphalt Zipper.  Joe Burns, owner of Burns Paving and Excavating in Saylorsburg, Pa., is looking for a few trucks to add to his fleet. Bidders traveled to Tuckahoe, N.J., for the F.W. Shawl & Sons sale.

The sun was shining on Aug. 15 in Tuckahoe, N.J., as buyers turned out for Hunyady's Absolute Auction/Complete Liquidation of F.W. Shawl & Sons Inc.

Included in the lineup were Caterpillar excavators and digging buckets, an Alitec cold planer and Caterpillar rubber-tired loaders, extend-a-hoes and skid steers. Several asphalt zippers and rollers also were up for bid.

Utility trucks, an air compressor, pumps and generators also drew bids from the crowd.
