Papé Kenworth received the prestigious 2019 Kenworth Dealer of the Year Award for the United States and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Santa Barbara, Calif. It marks the second time in five years that Papé Kenworth was chosen for the coveted award.

The new Kenworth T880S recently entered into production, and trucks are rolling down the assembly line to fill current orders. The T880S is Kenworth's newest configuration and features a set-forward front axle, adding to the popular T880 lineup. “The T880S is well-suited for truck operators in ready-mix, dump and mobile crane applications where every incremental pound of payload delivered contributes directly to the bottom line,” said Kevin Baney, Kenworth assistant general manager for sales and marketing.

Coming off a record year of PACCAR MX engine sales in Kenworth trucks, Kenworth is anticipating even further proprietary engine adoption with the PACCAR MX-13. “We’ve taken an excellent engine platform and made it even better with the PACCAR MX-13,” said Preston Feight, Kenworth assistant general manager of sales and marketing.

PACCAR Parts Fleet Services recently announced that the electronic catalog (ECAT) system, which is accessible to fleets, now uses vehicle maintenance reporting standard (VMRS) codes for easier part searches. The ECAT system is a web-based application designed to provide detailed parts lists for Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks and in-depth component catalogs for PACCAR Parts Fleet Services customers.

The Kenworth Truck Company and PACCAR Financial Extended Warranty Program is now available through March 31, 2011, for U.S. customers who purchase new Kenworth Class 8 factory trucks that meet eligibility requirements. Kenworth customers may receive a 3-year/300,000-mi.

PACCAR Parts recently introduced ACRAFIT all-makes fuel tanks that offer heavy-duty truck operators and truck fleets a cost-effective alternative to repairing or replacing damaged fuel tanks. ACRAFIT fuel tanks are available in multiple sizes of 50 to 150 gal.
