Construction began in May 2018 on the California Department of Transportation's (Caltrans) $150.7 million Interstate 710 Pavement Rehabilitation and Bridge Widening Project, which was awarded to Flatiron Construction Corporation in February 2018. Crews have been making solid progress on the project that covers a 3.5-mi.

Sterling Construction Company Inc. announced that Myers & Sons Construction is the apparent low bidder on a $21.9 million bridge project in Stockton, Calif. The McHenry Avenue Corridor Improvements project consists of the replacement of an existing two lane bridge that spans the Stanislaus River with a new 1,138 ft.

Tracey Road Equipment now has new Sterling Bullet trucks available. The new Sterling Bullet, competing in Classes 4 and 5, is suited for construction, utility, municipality, government and local pickup and delivery. Bullet is available in both two-door and quad-cab models, with 4x2 and 4x4 drivelines.
