Volvo Construction Plans to Set Up Manufacturing Facility in Shanghai
Volvo Construction Equipment S.A. recently said it has decided to set up a wholly owned unit and a facility for manufacturing construction equipment in Shanghai .
The company, which is part of the Volvo Group, said investment in the facility totals around $15 million.
The new facility is scheduled to start operations in early 2003 and initially will be used for assembling crawler excavators, the company said in a statement....
