Roadrunner Industrial Works Inc., owned by Merrill Robinson, held the grand opening of its Volvo Rents Equipment Rental Center on Saturday, March 20, 2004, at its newly remodeled facility at 3581 Highway 47 in Peralta, NM.

Construction, commercial, residential and industrial contractors, as well as homeowners in Valencia and Bernalillo counties were invited to attend the formal opening of the facility. Events included a “mantanza” (pig cooked in the ground), equipment demonstrations, a backhoe rodeo and door prizes, with Tony Lynn and Myles from radio station 107.9 FM.

Sales and engineering representatives from the company’s lineup of manufacturers were in attendance to demonstrate the equipment and answer questions. The equipment also was made available for testing by customers and the new Volvo Rents center offered special equipment rental financing incentives to its customers during their visit.

All Volvo CE Rents centers are independently owned and operated franchises within the Volvo Construction Equipment rental program. The rental centers carry, in addition to Volvo construction equipment, a comprehensive line of equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial, and homeowner markets.
