Ingersoll-Rand Names Sharp as New Bobcat President

February 27, 2002 - National Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

Jim Sharp has been appointed the new president of Bobcat, the Fargo, ND-based Ingersoll-Rand subsidiary and manufacturer of skid steer loaders and other construction equipment.

The appointment followed the Feb. 22 resignation of Chuck Hoge, who had been president and CEO of Bobcat since 1998. A company spokesman said Hoge’s resignation followed an internal reorganization of the business unit under which Bobcat belongs, that involved a reassignment of responsibilities. The spokesman said the resignation was Hoge’s decision.

Hoge was not available for comment.
