Iron Ranch Equipment is putting its company identity on display with a custom equipment wrap created through a giveaway sponsored by Construction Equipment Guide (CEG) earlier this year at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026.

Iron Ranch, which operates in Indiana and Texas, was selected as the winner of CEG's grand-prize equipment wrap giveaway. Dirty Graphix, a Minnesota-based company specializing in custom heavy equipment graphics, partnered with CEG to provide the wrap and worked with Iron Ranch Equipment to develop a design for one of the company's compact track loaders.

Dirty Graphix was founded to develop a product that combines equipment branding with a practical approach to working in demanding environments. The company produces custom, precut wrap kits for heavy equipment, offering contractors and rental businesses a way to distinguish their machines while promoting their brands on job sites.

The company's products are designed for a range of equipment, including skid steers, compact track loaders, excavators, dozers and tractors. Its approach allows customers to work with a designer to develop graphics suited to their branding preferences and selected machine.

The machine selected for the wrap by Iron Ranch Equipment was a Cat 259D3 compact track loader. The project gave the company an opportunity to incorporate its branding into a piece of equipment used in its rental business.

The design process began in late July, when the Dirty Graphix team contacted Iron Ranch Equipment to discuss the machine, company logos and design preferences.

Stacia Murphy, vice president of growth and partnerships of Iron Ranch Equipment, provided the Cat 259D3 model information along with the company's logo files and design inspiration. Murphy expressed particular interest in the patriotic eagle featured in examples on the Dirty Graphix website.

An Iron Ranch Equipment T-shirt design also served as a reference for the company's preferred look.

Dirty Graphix then began developing a preliminary design for the machine, working with Iron Ranch Equipment to bring its branding to the equipment.

For the Dirty Graphix team, the collaboration provided an opportunity to demonstrate how customized graphics can help construction and rental businesses create a recognizable identity for their equipment.

For Iron Ranch Equipment, the project was about more than changing the appearance of a machine. It also was an opportunity to make the company's identity more visible to customers and others in the construction industry.

“Equipment is what we rent, but people and partnerships are what we build our business around,” said Garrett Lalonde, Indiana regional manager of Iron Ranch Equipment. “Collaborating with Dirty Graphix gave us an opportunity to bring Iron Ranch Equipment's identity to life on the equipment itself. We're proud to have a finished product that stands out and represents the company we're building.”

The completed wrap demonstrates how equipment can serve as more than a tool on the jobsite, providing rental companies and contractors with another way to promote their businesses while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
