Doug Mehner, territory sales manager of Purple Wave Auction, received the Heavy Lifter award on Oct. 22, 2026, from the Heavy Constructors Association of Kansas City at its annual banquet.
Each year the banquet is held to bring members together for an evening of networking and award recognition. The Heavy Lifter award is granted to the individual who pitches in, supports others at the association and demonstrates hard work and dedication.
The association honored Mehner on its LinkedIn page stating that they were proud to award him at the annual banquet for exemplifying the hard work and dedication that the Heavies are known for.
