Ironhide Equipment has acquired Bobcat of Brainerd, strengthening its footprint in Minnesota and advancing its strategy for continued growth and customer support across the region.

The acquisition expands Ironhide Equipment's reach into the Brainerd market, allowing the company to better serve contractors, landscapers, acreage owners and businesses with equipment sales, rentals, parts and service. The move reflects a long-term commitment to investing in people, communities and customer relationships.

Bobcat of Brainerd will continue to operate under its existing name as a division of Ironhide Equipment. The companies share a strong focus on customer service and community engagement, making the partnership a natural fit, officials said.

"We're excited to build on the reputation and relationships already established in the Brainerd market while bringing additional resources and support through Ironhide Equipment," said Jason Vasichek, president of Ironhide Equipment.

Ironhide Equipment emphasized that maintaining continuity is a top priority during the transition. The company is working closely with the Bobcat of Brainerd team to ensure no disruption to daily operations, customer support, service or parts availability. The company also highlighted its commitment to supporting employees and preserving the relationships built within the local market.

Following the acquisition, Ironhide Equipment now operates five locations across North Dakota and Minnesota, including Grand Forks, Devils Lake, Williston, Bemidji and Brainerd. Each location offers sales, rentals, parts and service, with a strong emphasis on Bobcat equipment and attachments. The company also carries complementary product lines such as compact equipment, tractors, trailers, mowers, snow and landscaping equipment and material handling solutions.

Ironhide Equipment employs approximately 85 people across its locations.

The acquisition positions Ironhide Equipment to further enhance its service capabilities and deepen its presence in key regional markets while continuing to deliver the level of support customers expect.
